Mr Chase has truly been the linchpin in my daugther's passion for trumpet. She started playing with him in 3rd grade and has continued through the past 8 years. His organization and set up with his studio is incredible, as it gave me a chance especially when she was younger to stay and listen, so I could see what she was working on. We transitioned to zoom during covid and continued virtually since. This worked seamlessly as the one hour round trip across town saved time. This also allowed for a smooth transition as we moved across the country.

He always gives her gentle encouragement to push her along, but doesn’t stress when she hasn’t had the time to devote to the extra music practice. He instilled a love of classical music and she has continued with the regional symphony philharmonic orchestra. She made the school auditioned rock band that performs regionally, as well as the all-state concert band and has been able to develop numerous techniques such as triple tounging… (fill in the blank with technical language). She has really flourished and has a passion for music. I know she will continue to play trumpet throughout her lifetime with the foundations and finesse he has provided. Thanks for this spark that was ignited with Mr. Chase.

Mr. Chase has been a delightful and impactful instructor for my daughter from grade school through college. Her instructors at Interlochen this summer complimented her technique, and Mr Chase continues to be her only lessons instructor.

I started playing with Mr. Chase in fourth grade after I had been playing with my dad trumpet at home. His studio is awesome and he always made me feel really at home even when I didn’t practice much that week.

He always gently pushed me to try something new, and once I had mastered an initial concept he’d celebrate it. I really enjoyed the concert opportunities to play with other trumpets. Playing with Mr. Chase those early years layed a framework for developing and refining my skills heading into Middle School. I was able to make all the Texas private school music educational association TPSMEA competition all three years, including being first chair trumpet the Two years that we actually met in person post Covid. This set me up for my high school where I’m able to play in my regional Youth Symphony, as my playing with Mr. Chase had fostered my passion for classical music.

I love attending his area, concerts and offerings when I have the chance and seeing him playing for the Symphony and the theater is really neat.

Over the past 5 years starting after Covid, we have had our lessons virtually. This has been crucial as we moved across the country so weekly (or more! -several times a week when preparing for auditions) we have lessons on zoom or/teams.

I made the Allstate band, my high school auditioned ensemble and the regional symphony orchestra in a highly competitive arena, in which I am one of only two trumpets selected each year.

I’m glad that video conferencing has allowed for all to have access to this incredible teacher!!

Mr. Chase’s instruction makes all the difference! George cultivates passion for music, develops the fundamental skills in his students that make great artists, and nurtures confidence. He truly connects with each student. George has worked with both of our boys since they first started playing the trumpet. Over the years, our sons have faced many life challenges and through it all George has been a consistent mentor offering encouragement to them not only in the context of music but also in life. We have watched them become confident, award-winning musicians under his direction. Mr. Chase is a wonderful person, incredibly talented musician, and masterful teacher!

Mr. George Chase has been a truly invested mentor to both of my grandsons for many years. He has the innate ability to teach each student on an individual level until they are able to fully grasp and absorb the knowledge he is transferring. His teaching style is one of patience, consistency, and encouragement. Mr. Chase has been instrumental in helping mold my grandsons into capable, accomplished musicians. He is a treasure.
